What you get on every interstate move
The legal coverage and the logistics — both included, both in writing, both before you sign.
Federally licensed for all 48 states
Active FMCSA authority to cross state lines from Texas to anywhere in the lower 48. Many 'cheap' Austin movers aren't legally allowed to do this — ask before you sign.
Binding written estimate
Cubic-foot inventory taken before pickup. The number on the contract is the number on the final bill — no 'reweigh at the scale' surprise charge.
Same crew, both ends
The Austin crew that loads your truck is the crew that unloads at the destination. No handoff to a stranger somewhere off I-40.
No co-loading, ever
Your shipment is the only shipment on the truck. Direct route, your dates, no '14-day delivery window' shell game.
Full-value valuation available
Federal default is 60¢/lb — barely covers a broken lamp. We quote full-replacement valuation upfront so you decide before pickup, not after a claim.
Lead mover's cell phone
Mid-route ETA update? Text the lead mover directly. No 1-800 dispatch queue, no 'I'll have someone call you back tomorrow.'
Why Austin chooses Heavenly
Quote in weight. 'We'll reweigh at the destination' = new, higher bill.
Quote in cubic feet, written and binding. Number on the contract = number on the final invoice.
Your stuff rides with three other families'. Delivery 'somewhere in a 14-day window.'
Dedicated truck, your shipment only. Committed delivery window agreed before pickup.
Austin crew loads. Strangers at the destination unload. Damage finger-pointing.
Same Austin crew loads and unloads. Lead mover's cell is yours mid-route.
Loose 'we're partnered with a carrier' answer when you ask about federal authority.
We hold the FMCSA authority — verifiable at fmcsa.dot.gov. Ask any honest interstate mover for their MC number; we lead with ours.
How a Heavenly interstate move runs
01
Inventory + binding quote
Video or in-home walk-through. Cubic-foot inventory. Flat binding quote in writing — not an 'estimate' that drifts.
02
Pickup date locked
Specific pickup day, not a window. Delivery window agreed and on the contract before we load.
03
Load & roll
Pad-wrap, inventory log, bill of lading. Same Austin crew rides the route — lead's cell is yours mid-trip.
04
Delivery & set-up
Same crew unloads at the destination. Furniture reassembled. Inventory log signed, valuation claims handled in writing.
“Austin to Denver. Quoted flat, paid flat. Same two guys loaded and unloaded — no handoffs, no surprises. Bed was reassembled by 6pm on delivery day.”

Quick questions
Straight answers — no runaround.
What's the difference between interstate and long-distance?+
Interstate specifically means crossing state lines — Texas to Colorado, Arizona, Tennessee, anywhere out of state. It's regulated under federal DOT/MC authority on top of state. Long-distance can be either intrastate (Austin to El Paso) or interstate.
Are you legally licensed to move me out of Texas?+
Yes. We hold the federal FMCSA operating authority required to cross state lines, separate from our Texas state registration. Any legit interstate mover can show theirs at fmcsa.dot.gov.
How is interstate priced — by weight or by space?+
Cubic feet plus mileage, locked as a flat binding quote. Not weight-based. Not hourly. One number, signed before we load.
What's a binding quote, and why does it matter?+
A binding quote means the price doesn't change after pickup unless you add inventory. Federal law lets some movers issue 'non-binding estimates' that legally allow them to bill you 110%+ once your stuff is on the truck. We don't write those.
Will the same crew that loads also unload?+
Yes. Dedicated truck, same Austin crew rides to the destination and unloads. No handoff to a third-party crew you've never met.
